Men’s Rowing Retains Baker Cup for 13th Consecutive Year
April 22, 2018WORCESTER --- WPI retained the Baker Cup for the 13th-consecutive year as Men’s Rowing defeated Tufts and was second overall in the varsity eight while three other Engineer boats earned gold Sunday on Lake Quinsigamond. URI and Skidmore also took part in the regatta. -
Varsity Eight Second; Varsity Four and Third Varsity Eight Victorious for Men's Rowing
April 21, 2018WORCESTER – The WPI men’s rowing varsity eight placed second while the varsity four and third varsity eight won their races as the Engineers hosted Trinity, Ithaca, Conn College and UNH Saturday on Lake Quinsigamond. The course featured an eight to nine mile per hour tailwind and a choppy final 1,000 meters. -

April 07, 2018WORCESTER -- The WPI men's rowing varsity eight captured the Class of 2013 Cup for the third straight spring, crossing the line first in its season-opening regatta Saturday on a chilly Lake Quinsigamond. The Crimson and Gray outraced a strong Wesleyan boat, topping the Cardinals by less than a second (6:07.6 to 6:08.5). -
