Women’s Rowing Shines at Quinsigamond Snake Regatta

WORCESTER -- The WPI women's rowing's varsity eight posted an seventh place finish at the Quinsigamond Snake Regatta on Saturday. 

The Engineers were the second quickest NEWMAC boat, reaching the tape in a time of 16:26.449.  The second varsity eight also row well, finishing 16th with a time of 17:27.285. 

The novice eight A boat struck gold in dominating fashion.  WPI easily won the race, clocking a time of 17:25.113, over 35 seconds ahead of second place Wellesley and nearly a full minute ahead of third place Vermont.  The novice B shell was eighth in a time of 20:24.720. 

The Crimson and Gray conclude the fall portion of its schedule on Saturday, October 31st at the Head of the Fish Regatta in Saratoga Springs, NY.
