Seven From WPI Named to National Football Foundation Honor Society

Irving, TX --- Seven WPI student-athletes have been selected to the National Football Foundation (NFF) Honor Society, as announced Wednesday morning.

Civil engineering majors Larry Cafaro (Ansonia, CT), Luca Cerasani (Abington, MA), Nick Day (Northampton, MA) and Sam Malafronte (Abington, MA), along with business major Erik Fyrer (Ipswich, MA), aerospace engineering major Spencer Herrington (Clearfield, PA) and electrical & computer engineering major Brian Mahan (Ashland, MA) completed their final year of playing eligibility in 2018, achieved a 3.2 cumulative grade point average throughout entire course of undergraduate study, met all NCAA-mandated progress toward degree requirements and have been starters or significant contributors throughout the 2018 season.
