WORCESTER – Sophomore Reid Walker (Lithia, FL) has been selected as the NEWMAC Men's Basketball Defensive Athlete of the Week. It is the program's first weekly defensive award since it was introduced at the beginning of the 2016-17 season.
Walker notched 10 points and a game-high 11 rebounds in Tuesday's successful meeting with Worcester State. The sophomore also handed out three assists and recorded a block in the 90-71 triumph. On the season, Walker leads the Engineers in both scoring (13.8 ppg) and rebounding (7.8 rpg) while second on the team in assists with 15.
Men's Basketball (4-0) heads to Tufts Tuesday night for a 7pm tip.
