Cambridge, MA --- WPI men's rowing had an outstanding showing this weekend at the iconic annual Head of the Charles Regatta.  The Engineers battled tough conditions to see their varsity eight place tenth in the collegiate eights and the second varsity eight finish 22nd in the club eights at the 49th annual event.

The second varsity eight of Keegan Cole (Spencer, MA), Joe Sperry (Northampton, MA), Norm Harris (Gilford, NH), Nick Van Sciver (Wayland, MA), Brede Doerner (Branford, CT), Zach Gendreau (Galesville, WI), Danny Singer (Eldersburg, MD), Dan Seaman (Claremont, NH) and coxswain Mitra Marvasti-Sitterly (Glastonbury, CT) turned in a time of 15:49.247 and earned an automatic qualification to next year's regatta.
