Bristol, RI --- Roger Williams' Josh Dion (Pembroke, NH) delivered the decisive goal in the 37th minute as the Hawks blanked visiting WPI, 1-0, in a non-conference men's soccer match Tuesday night at Bayside Field.

The hosts end the night 5-2-2 while the Engineers, who entered the game as the fifth-ranked team in the United Soccer Coaches regional poll, are now 4-2-2.

Edmund Geschickter (Brookline, MA) collected five saves for the Hawks and WPI netminder Rufus Adams (Duxbury, MA) finished with two stops.

The Engineers had a large margin in shots (13-4) and corner kicks (11-1) while also maintaining a slim edge in shots on-goal (5-3).

WPI travels to MIT for a 4pm NEWMAC clash while Roger Williams hosts Curry for a CCC contest at 3pm on Saturday.
