Alberto Franceschi (Key Biscayne, FL) took half of Wheaton's eight shots while Souza was next with a pair. Netminder Diego Medina (Yonkers, NY) shouldered the decision for the Lyons.
After 90 minutes, WPI had a slim 9-8 margin in shots and 4-1 on-goal. The Lyons, meanwhile, were awarded six of the game's seven corner kicks.
