  • Year in Review: Softball's Nina Murphy-Cook Becomes NCAA Active Stolen Base Leader

    WORCESTER – Freshman Katie Martin (Bedford, NH) spun a three-hit shutout with one walk and a season-best seven strikeouts in game one and sophomore Mackenzie Phillips (Gill, MA) fanned a season-best eight batters and went 5 1/3 before yielding the lone Clark hit in game two as WPI blanked the Cougars with identical 7-0 scores Thursday in a NEWMAC Softball doubleheader at O'Brien Field. Freshman Nicole Kuberka (Los Angeles, CA) struck out three in the final two innings.

    Indianapolis, IN --- Recent WPI women’s basketball and softball student-athlete Ama Biney ’18 was named as one of the top graduating student-athletes across all three NCAA divisions in 2017-18 with her selection for the NCAA Today's Top 10 Award, which was announced today by the national office.

    WORCESTER -- The WPI Athletic Department, Poly Club, and Hall of Fame Selection Committee have revealed the inductees for its 36th class, which will be inducted as part of Homecoming Weekend on Friday, October 26.
