Dinwoodie and Kent Double Up for In Women's Swimming and Diving Opener at Vassar

Poughkeepsie, NY --- Sarah Dinwoodie (East Greenwich, RI) and Sonja Kent (West Boylston, MA) both won multiple events Friday night as WPI Women's Swimming and Diving dropped its season-opener 155-131 to host Vassar.

Dinwoodle had a time of 1:05.78 in her first place finish in the 100 back. She would also triumph in the 200 back with a 2:18.57. She came in third in the 50 free with a 27.47.

Kent had a time of 2:20.44 in her 200 butterfly victory, and a 5:26.69 in the 500 free. She would wrap up her day with a win in the 200 IM, finishing with a time of 2:21.55.

The 200 yard freestyle relay team of Alana Aubin (Taunton, MA), Alexandra Sanz-Guerrero (Ann Arbor, MI), Sam Sargalski (Windsor, CT) and Kelin Song (Providence, RI) won their event with a 1:49.19. Aubin also had three second place finishes in the 200 free with a 2:05.78, in the 100 butterfly with a 1:04.66 and in the 100 free with a 57.19. Song came in third in the 100 back with a 1:17.54.

Nica Sylvia (Martha's Vineyard, MA) won in the 3-meter diving with a 188.48.

WPI is back in action Saturday at Clarkson at 1pm.
