Adriana Grabski Named Swimming & Diving’s Full Time Assistant Coach

WORCESTER – WPI Swimming & Diving head coach Paul Bennett recently announced the hiring of Adriana Grabski as the program's full-time assistant coach.

"I am very excited to welcome Adriana aboard," said Bennett. "She brings a wealth you experience and her excitement for coaching is infectious! I am positive she will have an immediate impact on the program and improve our student athletes overall performance and experience here at WPI."

The Virginia Tech standout joins the staff after spending 2018-19 as an assistant coach for Northeast 10 Champion Assumption and as head coach at Holyoke High School. In addition to duties as a physical education instructor, Grabski will be a key member of the Sports & Recreation aquatics staff.

As a communication studies major, Grabski served as a team captain and was a member of the Hokies Student-Athlete Advisory Committee and Athletics Leadership Advisory Team. In the water, the 2016 Olympic trial qualifier earned All-America honorable mention status in the 200 and 400 medley relays while also taking part in the 400 free relay at the 2018 NCAA Division I Championships.

Grabski, who was also part of the runner up 200 medley relay at the 2018 ACC Championships, is still atop the Virginia Tech program record board in all three events, as well as, the Christiansburg Aquatic Center pool record board in the 200 medley relay.
