    Worcester, MA – Joe McGowan (Lincolnville, ME), Jared Laganas (Dracut, MA), and Ryan Shieding (Manchester, NH) all registered pins to help Plymouth State defeat host WPI 26-20 in college wrestling action on Wednesday evening. The Panthers, who defeated the Engineers 28-20 last Sunday at the NECCWA Duals Tournament, improve to 5-9 while WPI dips to 5-11.

    Hartford, CT - The WPI wrestling team posted a 2-2 record in action at Trinity on Saturday The Engineers, who are now 3-7 on the season, defeated MIT 32-22 and Trinity 33-14 while falling 24-21 to Williams and 32-18 to Southern Maine.

    Bridgewater, MA - In New England College Conference Wrestling Association (NECCWA) action, the Bears of Bridgewater State College earned a decisive 40-3 victory over WPI this evening from the Adrian Tinsley Center in Bridgewater. The Bears improved their dual meet record to 8-3 and also snapped a three-match losing streak against the Engineers (1-5).

With the win, Springfield is now 3-0 in dual-meet competition, while WPI is 0-2. SC is ranked #2 in New England Division III, while WPI is unranked.
