Wrestling's Tyler Marsh Pockets CoSIDA Academic All-America At-Large Award
June 17, 2020WORCESTER --- WPI wrestler Tyler Marsh was honored as an At-Large Academic All-America as selected by the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA). It is the third Academic All-American accolade all-time for the wrestling program and first for head coach Matt Oney. The recent graduate was named to the third team. -

April 13, 2020Manheim, PA --- WPI senior Tyler Marsh has been named a NCAA Division III All-America by the National Wrestling Coaches Association (NWCA). The 165-pounder earned third-team honors. -
Marsh Repeats as NEWA Scholar Athlete of the Year; Joined by Lind, Three Others as All-NEWA
April 02, 2020WORCESTER --- Senior Tyler Marsh has been recognized as the New England Wrestling Association (NEWA) Scholar Athlete of the Year and was named along with classmate Chase Lind to the All-NEWA second team. Three other Engineers - Senior Ronan Ball and freshmen Chris Cook and Tyler Riggs - were selected honorable mention All-NEWA while Cook and Riggs were also selected to the conference's All-Rookie team. -

The senior will compete in the 165-pound weight at the event that will be hosted by the American Rivers Conference at the U.S. Cellular Center in Cedar Rapids, Iowa on Friday, Match 13th and Saturday, March 14th. -

The Engineers knocked off Bridgewater State 37-12 in the second dual after falling 33-9 to No. 9 ranked NYU to open the day. -

January 25, 2020WORCESTER --- The trio of Chris Cook, Tyler Marsh and Tyler Riggs teamed up to win all eight of their bouts Saturday as the WPI wrestling team competed at the Roger Williams quad on Saturday. The Engineers posted a 42-15 victory in its final match over Trinity after dropping a 31-16 decision to Johnson & Wales and a 24-12 verdict to the host Hawks. -

Poly Club Inducts Six into WPI Athletics Hall of Fame; Vassallo Earns Harrington Award
October 07, 2019The WPI Athletic Department, Poly Club, and Hall of Fame Selection Committee is proud to announce its 37th Class, the Class of 2019. The six newest members were inducted on Friday, October 4th as part of Homecoming Weekend. The inductees include: John Bibinski '84 (Football), Kristen (Garza) Reader '11 (Women's Soccer), Steve Graveline '87 (Wrestling), Don Maki '80 (Baseball), Larry Noble (Men's Rowing Coach) and Jason Steele (Women's Rowing Coach). To kick off the evening, Helen Vassallo was recognized as the Frank C. Harrington (1898) Award recipient.
