Following a throw-in, the guests were awarded a free kick which was taken by Cali Bruce (Glen Allen, VA) to setup the lone marker of the game.

Megan Rose (Danville, CA) stopped six shots for Emerson and Mandy St. Germain (Worcester, MA) denied three for WPI.

Leah Beauton (Colchester, CT) totaled three shots, followed by a pair each by Kristen McCrea (Weymouth, MA) and Lilly Proulx (New Boston, NH), of which both were on-net. In all, the Engineers had the upper hand in shots (12-9), shots on-goal (6-4) and corner kicks (4-1).

Both teams are back in action on Tuesday as WPI tangles with Fitchburg State in a 3:30pm non-conference tilt and Emerson hosts Wheaton for a 6pm NEWMAC contest.
