The 2020 campaign marks the season on the women’s soccer coaching staff for Leisha Alcia.

Alcia spent six seasons as an assistant at her alma mater the University of Illinois.  She served as the recruiting coordinator for the Fighting Illini.  

She was a team captain for Illinois and then played for the Ottawa Fury and the Hampton Roads Piranhas in the Women's Semi-Professional Soccer League where she was the Goalkeeper of the Year in 2004. She was also a member of the Canadian Women's National Soccer Team, paritipating in World Cup Qualifying and was CONCACAF Silver Medalist.

Outside of soccer Alcia was an Athletic Academic Advisor at Nevada (Reno) and a Student Financial Services Counselor at Wellesley.
