
North Dartmouth, MA --- WPI Men’s Cross Country competed at the UMass Dartmouth Invitational on Saturday afternoon. The Engineers came home with 9th place, with Keene State winning for the second year in a row.
In a race that featured 262 participants, Peter Brown (Andover, MA) finished 42nd overall (25:53) to take the top spot for WPI. Dan Duffty (Haverhill, MA) was 59th (26:16) while Chris Gabrielson (Westford, MA) was 63rd (26:20).
Other top finishers for WPI included Lane Thornton (Richmond, VT) in 70th (26:28), Craig Mitchell (Hanson, MA) in 101st (27:10), Todd Alexander (Foxboro, MA) in 111th (27:21) and Shane Ruddy (Hanson, MA) in 120th (27:32).
Men's Cross Country will be running at the Worcester City Meet on Saturday held at Moore State Park in Paxton. The race is slated to begin at 10:30am.
