Men's Cross Country Finishes 14th at NCAA Division III Regional

Williamstown, MA --- The WPI men's cross country team placed 14th at the NCAA Division III New England Regional which was hosted by Williams at Mt. Greylock Regional High School on Saturday. Colby claimed the team crown with 63 points and the Engineers totaled 412 and finished third amongst NEWMAC teams.

Sophomore Austin Scott (Waddington, NY) once again led the way for the Crimson and Gray with a 51st-place 26:39.5 and was followed by senior Andrew Zayac (Plymouth, MA) in 74th (27:02.8). Freshman Tristam Winship (Bedford, NH) was 83rd (27:05.02) and classmate Jason Bugarin (Fitchburg, MA) was 100th (27:27.5). Fellow rookie Justin Trott (North Hampton, NH) clocked a 27:31.1 for 105th.

Senior Ryan Moran (Pembroke, MA) placed 106th (27:31.1) and sophomore Nathan Stomberg (West Greenwich, RI) claimed 138th-place with a time of 27:55.3 in the Engineers season finale.
