Men’s Cross Country Takes on Paul Short Run

Bethlehem, PA --- David Reynolds (Andover, NH) placed 34th as the WPI men's cross country team came home 21st at the brown 8K race at the 47th Paul Short Run, hosted by Lehigh, on Saturday.

The 44-scoring team field saw New Hampshire (114), Southern Connecticut (233), Binghamton (234), Marist (247) and Dickinson (273) occupy the top five spots. The Engineers amassed 552 points which was 10 points behind 18th-place Holy Cross.

Reynolds handed in a time of 25:12.1 as Ryan Weeks (Cantonsville, MD) also cracked the top 100 with a 95th-place 25:41.9. Brian Brooks (Brewster, MA) was 103rd (25:43.8) and Logan Gaudette (Holden, MA) took 140th (25:57.2). Avery Ingegneri (Warwick, RI) crossed the finish line 202nd (26:21.2) while Blake Audibert (Milford, NH) was 267th (27:18.1).

The Engineers venture to Franklin Park for the NEICAAA (All-New England All-Divisions) Championships Saturday.
