Kate Pearce begins her fourth year as the assistant jumps and combined events coach in 2019-2020.

The 2015 cross country captain at Utica was also a member of the Pioneers indoor and outdoor track & field teams. She earned eight top-8 finishes, including three fifth-place showings in the high jump, at either the Empire 8 or New York State Collegiate Track Conference Championships. In all, she contested 16 different events during her track seasons, including the 1,000-meter run and long jump.

The biochemistry major is now a PhD candidate in chemstry & biochemistry at WPI. She was a member of Alpha Epsilon Delta national health professional honors society, the Utica chapter of the American Chemical Society and National Society of Leadership and Success. Pearce currently holds membership in the American Chemical Society northeast region.
