Cambridge, MA --- WPI men's rowing a had pair of boats compete this Sunday in the iconic Head of the Charles Regatta.  The Engineers saw its varsity eight finish 23rd and second varsity eight 37th in the Men's Collegiate Eights.
 
The varsity eight reached the finish line in a time of 16:24.824.  The Crimson and Gray posted a split of 3:49.462 at Riverside, reached Weld in 9:02.953, arrived at CBC in 13:49.442 and took 2:35.382 from there to the finish line. 
 
The second varsity eight began by arriving at Riverside in 3:59.464, having the clock read 9:34.998 when they passed Weld, reached CBC in 14:35.158 and turned in a final split of 2:43.442 to finish the race with a time of 17:18.600.       
 
The Crimson and Gray conclude the fall portion of its schedule on Saturday, October 28th competing on Lake Quinsigamond in the Wormtown Chase Regatta.
