Cambridge, MA --- WPI men's rowing entered a pair of boats this Sunday at the venerable Head of the Charles Regatta. The varsity four finished in 17th place in the Collegiate Four while the varsity eight placed 30th in the Collegiate Eights.
 
The varsity four began by arriving at Riverside in 3:53.010 having the clock read 9:23.762 when they passed Weld, reached CBC in 14:17.312 and turned in a final split of 3:03.254 to finish the race with a time of 17:20.566.  The showing assured the Crimson and Gray an automatic entry in the 2025 HOCR Collegiate Four.
 
The varsity eight reached the finish line in a time of 15:56.467. The Engineers posted a split of 3:33.207 at Riverside, reached Weld in 8:36.733, arrived at CBC in 13:09.991 and took 2:46.476 from there to the finish line.
 
WPI closes out the 2023 fall season on Saturday, October 28th competing on Lake Quinsigamond in the Wormtown Chase Regatta.
