Cambridge, MA --- WPI men's rowing a had pair of boats compete this Sunday in the iconic Head of the Charles Regatta. The Engineers saw its varsity eight finish 25th in the Men's Collegiate Eights and the varsity four 32nd in the Men's Collegiate Four.
The varsity eight reached the finish line in a time of 15:27.283. The Crimson and Gray posted a split of 3:27.016 at Riverside, reached Weld in 8:24.440, arrived at CBC in 12:45.007 and took 2:44.662 from there to the finish line.
The varsity four began by arriving at Riverside in 3:56.861, having the clock read 9:33.250 when they passed Weld, reached CBC in 14:31.146 and turned in a final split of 3:14.385 to finish the race with a time of 17:47.664.
The Crimson and Gray conclude the fall portion of its schedule on Saturday, October 25th competing on Lake Quinsigamond in the Wormtown Chase Regatta.
