College Sports Communicators Academic All-District - WPI Women's Soccer
WORCESTER --- The WPI women's soccer program placed five members of the Crimson and Gray on the 2025 NCAA Division III College Sports Communicators (CSC) Women's Soccer Academic All-District Team, as announced last week.

The 2025 Academic All-District Women's Soccer Teams, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the field and in the classroom.

This year's honorees include senior Bailey Allmon (Woodbine, MD), juniors Madison Shaw (Cheshire, CT), Katie Adiletta (Bolton, MA), Jess English (Ledyard, CT), and Maeve Steckley (Rochester, NY), with English and Steckley earning repeat Academic All-District recognition.

Allmon, a senior defender, started all 21 contests as a staple of WPI's defensive back line, helping the Engineers register 10 shutouts while reaching the NEWMAC Tournament Semifinals. The veteran back concluded her career with 39 starts in 62 appearances logging 3,919 minutes on the pitch for the Crimson and Gray. Off the field, the senior back owns a perfect 4.0 grade-point average in biomedical engineering and is a multi-time NEWMAC Academic All-Conference honoree.

Shaw, a junior midfielder, started in 20 matches for the Engineers and added a goal versus UMass Boston to help secure the non-conference win in late September. Academically, Shaw boasts a 3.84 GPA as a computer science major and is a two-time Academic All-Conference team member.

Adiletta, a junior forward, appeared in 21 matches with 19 starts, providing an important spark in the attacking third for the Crimson and Gray as she logged a pair of game-winning goals and three assists. The junior striker holds a 4.0 GPA in electrical and computer engineering and two-time All-NEWMAC Academic team honoree.

English, a junior back and repeat CSC Academic All-District honoree, anchored the Engineers' defensive unit that produced 10 shutouts and logged all 1,890 minutes for the second straight season. The junior back earned All-NEWMAC First Team honors in 2025 for the second consecutive season, marking her third-career All-Conference selection after leading a back line that limited opponents to just 24 goals in 21 matches. Off the pitch, English maintains a 3.58 GPA in mechanical engineering, is a two-time NEWMAC All-Academic honoree, and a two-time Dean's List recipient.

Steckley, a junior forward and repeat Academic All-District selection, powered the Engineers' offense with seven goals, five assists, and four game-winning tallies. 2025 marked Steckley's third straight season as one of the program's leading point producers en route to earning her first-career All-NEWMAC Second Team honor. In the classroom, Steckley carries a 3.89 GPA in civil engineering, is a two-time NEWMAC All-Academic honoree, and a four-time Dean's List recipient.

WPI concluded the season with an 11-7-3 overall record and advanced to the NEWMAC Tournament Semifinals as the No. 6 seed.
