Westford, MA --- 14 members of the WPI men's soccer team were named to the 2025 Fall NEWMAC Academic All-Conference team as announced by the league office. The Engineers had the second-most selections in the league.
 
Highlighting the list for WPI were three Engineers earning their third selection: seniors Evan Haas (Concord, NH), Tora Ito (Hopkinton, MA), and Edward Zazzali (Nutley, NJ).
 
Sophomores Mike Montabana (Jamison, PA), Jinsei Murakawa (Lexington, MA), Matthew Murray (Sandwich, MA), and Bryce Russ (Southwick, MA) earned their first selections in their first year of eligibility.
 
Other first-time honorees included seniors Fabio Bastida-Andreu (Logroño, Spain), Anthony Coutts (Millis, MA), Floris Huiskers (Amsterdam, Netherlands), and Aidan McLoughlin (Colchester, CT), along with juniors Santino Bazzini (Buenos Aires, Argentina), Connor Piper (East Lyme, CT), and Nikolas Previte (Andover, MA).
 
Academic All-Conference honorees must have met the following criteria: earned a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.5/4.0 scale or 4.35/5.0 scale after the 2025 spring semester, achieved second-year academic status at their institution, and been a member of the varsity team for the entire semester.
