Marlboro, MA --- Sixteen members of the WPI women's soccer team were named to the 2025 Fall NEWMAC Academic All-Conference Team, as announced by the league office. WPI's 16 selections tied for the third most in the conference.
Leading the Engineers were four seniors who each earned their third career Academic All-Conference selection:
Bailey Allmon (Woodbine, MD),
Delina Chávez (Glastonbury, CT),
Fiona Prendergast (Sudbury, MA), and
Reese Pszenny (Danvers, MA).
Earning their second selection to the conference academic squad were juniors
Katie Adiletta (Bolton, MA),
Maggie Drawz (Golden Valley, MN),
Jess English (Ledyard, CT),
Madison Shaw (Cheshire, CT), and
Maeve Steckley (Rochester, NY).
Six sophomores earned Academic All-Conference recognition in their first year of eligibility:
Maya Mussel (Oxford, CT),
Ayla Verheul (Naarden, The Netherlands),
Emma Fitzgerald (Beverly, MA),
Katie Pierce (North Stonington, CT),
Caetlyn Embree (Sherborn, MA), and
Madisen McLeod (Ledyard, CT), while junior
Delaney Mohl (Hopewell Junction, NY) rounded out the list of first-time honorees.
Academic All-Conference honorees must have met the following criteria: earned a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.5/4.0 scale or 4.35/5.0 scale after the 2025 spring semester, achieved second-year academic status at their institution, and been a member of the varsity team for the entire semester.
