38 Football Student-Athletes Named to NEWMAC Academic All-Conference Team

NEWMAC Football All-Academic 2025
Marlboro, MA --- The WPI football team was well represented on the 2025 Fall NEWMAC Academic All-Conference team as announced by the league office. 38 Engineers earned the distinction, the second highest total in the conference, behind only MIT who had 45 selections.
 
Five Engineers became three-time award winners, as seniors Nate Ambrad (Wakefield, RI), Aiden Cavotta (Chittenango, NY), Colin Chandonnet (Bedford, NH), Ty Csencsits (Hellertown, MA), and Ryan Hannigan (Needham, MA) highlighted the team for WPI.
 
Becoming two-time honorees were Sid Atluri (South Windsor, CT), Ryan Darby (Pembroke, MA), Calvin Lambert (Somersworth, NH), John Lavinio (Upper Saddle River, NJ), Carter Learned (Reading, MA), Garrett Ranieri (Templeton, MA), William Schlesinger (Winchester, MA), and Sanjay Talwar (Owings Mills, MD).
 
Sophomores earning their first selection in their first year of eligibility include Jurjen Bouvier (Longmeadow, MA), Braden Cammuso (Uxbridge, MA), Shane Clark (Westford, MA), Daniel Conant (Beverly, MA), Brady Currier (South Hadley, MA), Nicholas Dell'Ovo (Charlton, MA), Nathan Denehy (Holliston, MA), Grant Engelhardt (Chelmsford, MA), Michael Krevosky (Kingston, MA), Owen Matthews (Milford, MA), Micky McGovern (Vestal, NY), Anuar Mezher (Mexico City, Mexico), Jack Schuck (Bangor, ME), and Andrew Zipko (Rocky Mount, NC).
 
Other first-time honorees included juniors Patrick Andrews (Marlboro, MA), Rudy Arsenault (Mattapoisett, MA), Jack Auchter (Ware, MA), James Compito (Washingtonville, NY), Kevin Connolly (Lynnfield, MA), Matthew Ford (McDonald, PA), Aedan McDermott (Guilford, CT), Zach Oliveira (Uxbridge, MA), and Camden West (Haverhill, MA).
 
Academic All-Conference honorees must have met the following criteria: earned a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.5/4.0 scale or 4.35/5.0 scale after the 2025 spring semester, achieved second-year academic status at their institution, and been a member of the varsity team for the entire semester.
