WORCESTER – The WPI field hockey and women's rowing programs combined for six selections to the 2026 NCAA Division III College Sports Communicators (CSC) Women's At-Large Academic All-District Team as announced by the organization.

Representing the field hockey program are Myles Lakin (Reading, MA), Eve Martineau (Greene, ME), Lauren Meinhold (Boxboro, MA), and Leah Uglevich (Maynard, MA), while women's rowing standouts Charlotte Bourne (Northampton, MA) and Victoria Serrambana (Glastonbury, CT) earned recognition for the Engineers.

Meinhold headlines the field hockey honorees following one of the most decorated seasons in recent program history. The graduate student mechanical engineering major owns a 3.98 undergraduate GPA and a 4.00 graduate GPA while also advancing to the CSC Academic All-America ballot. Meinhold collects CSC Academic All-District recognition for the second occasion after earning the distinction in 2024. A First Team All-NEWMAC and NFHCA Region I First Team selection, Meinhold became WPI's first NFHCA All-American since 1994 after earning Third Team All-America honors in 2025. She paced the Engineers with 10 goals and five assists, including three game-winning tallies.

Martineau garners CSC Academic All-District distinction for the third consecutive year following another impactful season in the midfield for the Crimson and Gray. The senior biomedical engineering major carries a 3.85 cumulative GPA and concluded her career as a three-time All-NEWMAC and three-time NFHCA All-Region selection. A team captain and member of the 2025 NFHCA Division III Senior Team, Martineau started all 79 games of her collegiate career.

Lakin adds CSC Academic All-District honors to an already impressive sophomore campaign after earning 2025 NEWMAC Defensive Player of the Year accolades. The biomedical engineering major sports a 3.67 cumulative GPA and anchored a defensive unit that allowed a conference-best 19 goals during the regular season. Lakin led the NEWMAC in save percentage overall (.863) and during conference play (.851) while recording 14 victories and six shutouts for the nationally-ranked Engineers.

Uglevich rounds out the field hockey honorees after collecting her first career All-NEWMAC postseason distinction in 2025. The senior biomedical engineering major maintains a 3.91 cumulative GPA and finished third on the team with eight goals while adding a pair of assists during her final collegiate season.

As a team, WPI field hockey authored one of the finest seasons in program history in 2025, reaching the NEWMAC Championship game and earning an at-large bid into the NCAA Tournament. The Engineers climbed as high as No. 22 in the NFHCA National Coaches Poll and captured the program's first NCAA Tournament victory since 1989.

On the water, Bourne and Serrambana represented WPI women's rowing on the CSC Women's At-Large Academic All-District Team.

Bourne, a junior mechanical engineering major, boasts a perfect 4.00 cumulative GPA and competed in all eight competitions for the Crimson and Gray during the season. Bourne earned All-NEWMAC Second Team honors while rowing as part of the varsity eight boat that placed fourth at the NEWMAC Championships and competed against nationally-ranked crews throughout the championship portion of the spring season.

Serrambana joins Bourne on the CSC Academic All-District Team after another standout year for the Engineers. The junior civil engineering major owns a 3.91 cumulative GPA and also secured All-NEWMAC Second Team recognition in 2025. Serrambana rowed in the varsity eight throughout the championship season as WPI competed at the NEWMAC Championships, New England Rowing Championships, and National Invitational Rowing Championships on Lake Quinsigamond.
