Vinnie Pennell

Vinny Pennell is in tenth season as an assistant coach in 2021. 

Pennell makes his second stop on the collegiate coaching circuit after coaching at his alma-matter Franklin Pierce University in 2009 and 2010.

Pennell who played in Rindge from 2004 through 2007, put together one of the most prolific offensive careers in school history. He ranks second in games played (215), third in at bats (776) second in hits (250), fourth in runs scored (158), fourth in triples (10) and he still holds the record for career stolen bases with 95.

After graduation from Franklin Pierce, Pennell went on to play two seasons in the Kansas City Royals organization in 2007 and 2008. After that he played in the Can-Am League for three seasons, one with the Nashua Pride and two with the Worcester Tornadoes.
