A familiar face will be on the Engineer sideline this fall as 2020 graduate David Barber is back to oversee the defensive backs.

Barber concluded his four-year career in Crimson and Gray by taking the final snap in WPI’s 35-6 New England Bowl Series victory over Western Connecticut.  The defensive back had missed the entire season due to injury before having the honor to cap the historic 2020 campaign.

Barber earned his degree in Mechanical Engineering from WPI in May of 2020.  His academic accomplishments included creating a prototype of a hydraulically powered prosthetic wrist and performing a carbon footprint study in Costa Rica.
