Dylan Foran is in his fourth year on the WPI softball coaching staff in 2025. 

In his three years on Boytnon Hill, the Crimson and Gray have amassed 78-wins and pocketed a NEWMAC Championship and appearance in the NCAA Championship. 

The Engineers finished its historical season with a 35-17 record and No. 12 national ranking. At WPI, Foran assists in all aspects of practice and game day operations, focusing on the development and coaching of the outfield unit. Over the past four seasons, the Crimson and Gray outfield has produced numerous all-conference and all-region recognitions, as well as a nationally recognized Gold Glove Award recipient in 2024. 

Foran has spent the past six years with the Mass Drifters Softball program where he spent his time working with their top showcase teams.

On top of his softball experience, Foran has a background in soccer. After graduating from Boston College High School, he captained his team at Becker College. Foran still currently serves as an assistant coach with the WPI Men’s Soccer Program and was a part of the 2023 NEWMAC Coaching Staff of the Year, and 2023 Division III Regional Coaching Staff of the Year.

Prior to WPI, Foran had assisted at Becker College and Newbury College.
