Krista Baker enters her ninth year on the WPI Track and Field staff after a successful collegiate career. Baker works primarily with the team’s shot putters and discus throwers.

Baker’s throwers have helped both the men’s and women’s teams establish themselves near the top of the conference, with several athletes earning All-Conference distinction. 

Baker, a graduate of WPI is the school record holder in the Hammer and 20-lb weight throw. She was a 2-time NCAA Qualifier and was named the 2010 NCAA New England Regional Field Athlete of the Year for the outdoor season.
