Liz Matticoli '24 returns to the Crimson and Gray but now as a first-year assistant coach for the 2024-25 season.
Matticoli closed her career for WPI with a trip to the 2024 NCAA Division III Outdoor Track & Field Championships and placed 13th overall which marked six spots better than her original 19th seed in the javelin throw. With the 13th-place finish, Matticoli claimed All-America Second Team honors at the national meet.
