Kelsey Leach '2023 returns to the WPI Women's Soccer program as a first-year assistant coach for the 2025 season. 

Leach logged three seasons in net for the Engineers logging 15 appearances and 43 career saves before graduating in 2023. Leach saved the day in the fall of 2021 as she made a key stint in the penalty shootouts for the fifth-seeded Engineers against fourth-seeded Babson in the NEWMAC quarterfinal to edge the Beavers, 3-2, on the road and advance in the 2021 NEWMAC Women's Soccer tournament.

A 2023 graduate of WPI with a degree in biomedical engineering, Leach excelled in the classroom with a 3.93 GPA and completed impactful projects, including developing an automatic feeding and drug delivery system for premature infants and collaborating internationally on a computer vision and machine learning–based indoor navigation tool for the visually impaired. 

Professionally, Leach has worked at Bristol Myers Squibb in multiple roles across biologics and cell therapy operations, most recently serving as an associate scientist in upstream process development. She has also earned Lean Six Sigma Yellow and Green Belt certifications while leading cross-functional projects that improved efficiency and streamlined operations.
