Franco Bazzini returns to WPI for his first season as an assistant coach with the men’s soccer program, bringing experience as a former team captain and a strong connection to the university.

Bazzini was a member of WPI’s varsity soccer program from 2019 to 2024, serving as captain during his collegiate career. His experience representing the Engineers and leading teammates provides a foundation for his transition to the coaching staff.

A two-time WPI graduate, Bazzini earned a bachelor’s degree in business with a concentration in data analytics in 2023 and a master’s degree in management in 2024. He was also a member of Alpha Tau Omega during his time on campus.

Beyond soccer, Bazzini’s professional background includes working as a Business Analyst Officer at Charles River Development in Burlington, Massachusetts, where he develops reporting tools, analyzes business data, and collaborates across teams to improve operations. Bilingual in English and Spanish, he brings communication and analytical skills to his work with WPI’s student-athletes.
