Matti Hauck enters his first season as a volunteer assistant coach with WPI Track & Field, bringing a background in competitive sprints and long jump in Germany.

Hauck has competed with LG Welfen since 2012, building extensive experience as a track and field athlete. His background in sprinting and jumping provides a foundation for his work with the Engineers.

Hauck is pursuing a bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering at HTWG Konstanz in Germany, specializing in engineering and project management, with graduation expected in August 2027. His professional experience includes an internship at BRUGG Fatzer AG in Switzerland, where he supported project management, business development, and customer relations.

Fluent in German and English, Hauck also brings leadership experience as a drum corps major, coordinating musical and organizational activities and representing his school and city at official events.
