Cambridge, MA --- WPI men's rowing entered a pair of boats this weekend at the venerable Head of the Charles Regatta. The varsity eight finished in 10th place in the Collegiate Eights on Sunday while the second varsity eight placed 29th Saturday in the Club Eights.
The varsity eight posted a time of 14:52.762, finishing ahead of 11th place Bates by nearly two seconds. Division I Drexel won the 41-boat race Sunday in a time of 14:20.496, while Williams (2nd - 14:21.751), Tufts (7th - 14:42.342) and Trinity (10th - 14:50.282).
Saturday saw the second varsity eight take center stage with the Crimson and Gray turning in a time of 16:16.339, placing ahead of 10 different crews.
WPI closes out the 2022 fall season on Saturday, October 29th competing on Lake Quinsigamond in the Wormtown Chase Regatta.
