WORCESTER -- WPI Women's Rowing wrapped its 2024-25 campaign on Sunday, taking part in the National Invitational Rowing Championship on Lake Quinsigamond. The Engineers rowed in the morning and qualified for the petite finals in all three of the races they entered.
The varsity eight, ranked 10th nationally in the most recent Pocock CRCA Top 15, placed third in each its races, extracting some revenge in the petite final, edging Wellesley by less than a second (6:48.294 to 6:48.936), after the Blue claimed the NEWMAC title two weeks again on the same lake.

The National Invitational Rowing Championships marks the end of the 2024-25 campaign for the Engineers. After a trip to England to participate in the iconic Henley Regatta, the Crimson and Gray will return to train in late August and will compete in the fall season which features the Quinsigamond Snake Regatta, the historic Head of the Charles Regatta and the Wormtown Chase Regatta in October.
