WORCESTER -- The WPI Athletics Department, Poly Club, and Hall of Fame Selection Committee have unveiled the inductees for its 42nd class, which will be inducted as part of Homecoming Weekend on Friday, September 26th.
 
The inductees (pictured left to right starting with the top) include:
Jeffrey Baker '11 – Men's Track & Field
Gabriela Hoops '19 – Women's Soccer
Matt Mercer '94 - Football
Veroniki Nikolaki '16 - Swimming and Diving
Liz Pellegrini '16 - Women's Track and Field
Nick Triantafell '86 - Wrestling
 
Additionally, the Frank C. Harrington - Class of 1898 - Award will be presented for the sixth time at the Hall of Fame dinner after being handed out previously at the annual athletic banquet.  The Harrington Award is presented to a distinguished contributor to WPI Athletics over a significant period of time. The 2025 recipient of the Harrington Award is Brian Daly '91.

Finally, three teams will be recognized as part ot Homecoming Weekend.  The three teams include 1983-84 Women's Basketball, 1984-85 Wrestling and 1984-85 Men's Basketball.

The evening in the Campus Center Odeum begins with cocktails at 5pm with the introductions beginning promptly 6pm and dinner at 6:15pm.  Tickets are $55 a person.  Invitations will be sent out via email in the next few weeks. You can also RSVP/Register by visiting HERE by Friday, September 19th.

Saturday, September 27th will be a busy day at Alumni Stadium with Football in action at noon versus Coast Guard and Field Hockey hosting Springfield at 4:30pm.
