Marlboro, MA --- Eleven members of the WPI field hockey team were named to the 2025 Fall NEWMAC Academic All-Conference Team, as announced by the league office.

The list was highlighted by four Engineers who each earned their third career Academic All-Conference selection. Graduate student
Lauren Meinhold (Boxboro, MA) and seniors
Lauren Coutu (Baldwinville, MA),
Eve Martineau (Greene, ME), and
Leah Uglevich (Maynard, MA) all became three-time honorees for the Engineers.

Earning Academic All-Conference recognition in their first year of eligibility were sophomores
Emma Barton (Hopewell Junction, NY),
Madeline Chase (Danvers, MA),
Myles Lakin (Reading, MA),
Ella Reeners (Windham, NH), and
Sanidi Waduthanthiri (Hopkinton, MA).

Rounding out the WPI selections were seniors
Arie Lang (West Hartford, CT) and
Abbey Powers (Halifax, MA), who each earned their first career Academic All-Conference honor.

Academic All-Conference honorees must have met the following criteria: earned a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.5/4.0 scale or 4.35/5.0 scale after the 2025 spring semester, achieved second-year academic status at their institution, and been a member of the varsity team for the entire semester.
