Former four-year standout Connor Hoeckele ’18 begins his seventh season on the coaching staff in 2024.

Hoeckele will once again work with the goalkeepers this after after a 2019 campaign that saw Rufus Adams named All-NEWMAC and the Engineers allowed the lowest goals against averaged in all of Division III (0.452).

A captain and key contributor on the 2017 NEWMAC Championship squad, Hoeckele stopped three of four PKs in the shootout versus Springfield. At the conclusion of the NCAA first round game at Oneonta, the mechanical engineering major completed a stretch of over 350 minutes of action without yielding a goal.

For his career, the two-time All-NEWMAC performer was 32-19-8 with 21 shutouts, as well as a 0.74 goals against average, in 62 starts.
