Jacqueline Dumont

Jacqueline Dumont is in her first year with the WPI coaching staff. 

Dumont is a Nashua, NH native and Graduate of Nashua High School North. As the starting catcher for Southern Connecticut State University, Dumont appeared in 160 games, starting in 157, earning her 4th in BA (.368), 4th in doubles (37), 4th in home runs (25), and 5th in RBIs (127) all-time. 

In 2022, Dumont was the only fourth player in SCSU softball history to be named All-American and the second player in SCSU softball history to be named NE-10 Player of The Year. 

Dumont was also named to the NE-10 First Team All-Conference in 2021, 2022, and 2023 as well as NFCA First Team All-Region in 2022. 

Dumont graduated from SCSU with a Bachelor's in Exercise Science with a concentration in Human Performance. She is continuing her education at the Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences for her master’s in occupational therapy.
