Worcester Polytechnic Institute

The 2023 season will mark the second year on staff for former WPI volleyball standout Sarah Kwatinetz '20. 

A middle hitter, Kwatinetz played for the Engineers for three seasons before Covid-19 cancelled the 2020 campaign. She amassed 623 career kills while posting a .299 hitting percentage in 81 matches between 2017 and 2019.  Kwatinetz was a force at the net, amassing 40 solo blocks and 155 block assists for a total of 195 blocks to go along with 157 digs, 35 aces and 31 assists. 

Kwatinetz also enjoyed success in the classroom, twice earning Academic All-District I honors from the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA). 

A civil engineering major, Kwatinetz began her coaching career working volleyball camps and coaching club volleyball at WPI.  She has worked as a project designer for Nitsch Engineering in Worcester since January of 2021.
