Oneonta, NY ---The WPI wrestling team made the long trip out to Oneonta, NY on Saturday to compete at the SUNY-Oneonta Invitational.  The Engineers came away with a respectable 10th place finish, scoring 53.5 points. 

Sophomore Carl Anderson (Billerica, MA) went 4-2 at the meet to take home a fourth place finish at his 125 pound weight class.  Senior Adam Kreitman (Salem, NH) also posted a 4-2 mark, including a pin, to earn a fifth place finish at 197 pounds while freshman Steve Tressel (Pembroke, MA) placed sixth at 157 pounds, registering a pin, and finishing with a 2-2 record. 

Other multiple winners for the Engineers included Walter Canuto (Brockton, MA) at 149 pounds, David Cardenas (Framingham, MA) at 165 and John Gikas (North Andover, MA) at 174.

Wrestling enjoys some time off and returns to the mat on December 1st at Norwich University beginning at 1:30pm.
