Worcester, MA --- WPI has been selected to participate in the 2011 ECAC Division III New England Women's Basketball Tournament. The fourth-seeded Engineers will host a quarterfinal matchup versus the fifth seed Suffolk on Wednesday night at 7pm in Harrington Auditorium.

The Engineers enter the tournament with an 18-7 record. The Crimson and Gray closed out the regular season with a four-game winning streak before falling to Smith in the NEWMAC semifinals on Saturday.

The winner of Wednesday's quarterfinal game will face the winner of the No. 1 seed University of New England versus the No. 8 seed Smith game on Friday night.
