Northampton, MA --- WPI sophomore Kristen McCrea (Weymouth, MA) scored both goals in the first half and junior Gabriela Hoops (Stonington, CT) made seven stops in a 2-0 NEWMAC Women's Soccer triumph at Smith Saturday afternoon.

McCrea unleashed seven shots – six on goal – including goals at 26:00 and 37:51. The first was a bid from the left side and the second was following a Smith corner.

In addition to Hoops, the defense chipped in with a team save. Shelby Hall also made seven stops for the hosts.

WPI (7-4, 1-2) hosts Babson Tuesday at 7pm and Smith (5-4, 1-2) is at Emerson at 6pm.
