Wellesley, MA --- WPI's Lili Hellerman (Ashland, MA) and Wellesley's Kendall Lincoln (San Diego, CA) registered dueling shutouts as the Blue and visiting Engineers battled in a NEWMAC game with a scoreless draw on a sunny, breezy Saturday afternoon. 

With the tie, WPI moves to 4-6-2 overall and 0-3-2 in conference play while the hosts are now 5-5-1 on the season and 0-4-1 in contests against NEWMAC foes. 

Hellerman recorded a pair of stops en route to her first solo clean sheet of the season and second of her career.  The junior has been apart of two other shutouts in 2022 and six overall over the past campaigns.  Lincoln also notched two saves while registering her fifth career blanking. 

Arguably, WPI's best push for goal was in the opening four minutes after intermission when the Boynton Hillers tallied a pair of shots, one on frame, and two corner kicks.  

For the match, the Crimson and Gray held a slim 6-5 edge in shots while the visitors earned all five corner kicks on the day.  

Josie Kim (San Jose, CA) was the only WPI player with two shots in the matchup while Allison Escott (Columbia, CT) and Annika Keck (Oakland, CA) accounted for the guests' shots on goal.  

WPI is off until next Saturday when its kicks off a three-game homestand by hosting Springfield at noon. Wellesley is back at it on Tuesday with a 4pm match at No. 19 MIT.
