Cambridge, MA --- WPI women's rowing a had pair of boats compete this Sunday in the iconic Head of the Charles Regatta. The Engineers saw its varsity eight finish 11th and second varsity eight 30th in the Women's Collegiate Eights.
The varsity eight reached the finish line in a time of 17:49.445. The Crimson and Gray posted a split of 4:06.932 at Riverside, reached Weld in 9:42.394, arrived at CBC in 14:41.053 and took 3:05.263 from there to the finish line.
The second varsity eight began by arriving at Riverside in 4:21.947, having the clock read 10:08.744 when they passed Weld, reached CBC in 15:43.836 and turned in a final split of 3:11.640 to finish the race with a time of 18:55.476
The Crimson and Gray conclude the fall portion of its schedule on Saturday, October 26th competing on Lake Quinsigamond in the Wormtown Chase Regatta.
