WORCESTER -- The WPI women's rowing team concluded its fall campaign Saturday with multiple strong performances in the fifth annual Wormtown Chase Regatta on Lake Quinsigamond.
 
Racing in class boats in the collegiate eight, the Crimson and Gray saw four boats compete on a beautiful late October day, registering finishes of third (A - 17:25.417), eighth (B - 18:16.738), 17th (C - 20:18.151) and 18th (D - 23:20.349).  Wesleyan won the event in a time of 16:55.702 followed by Division I Holy Cross A (17:14.939) and B (17:22.115).
 
The Engineers will return to the water in early April for the spring portion of their season.
