North Dartmouth, MA --- The WPI women's cross country had four runners in action at the 2024 UMass Dartmouth Invitational on Saturday.
Freshman
Catherine Daly (Groton, MA) led the way for the Engineers, her first time as the squad's lead runner. Daly finished the 5k event in a time of 20:07.67 to place 124th out of 345 runners.
Senior
Elie Bowman (Oakdale, CT) finished closely behind Daly, clocking in at
20:11.78 to take 128th place.
Freshman
Emma Conway (Suffield, CT) had a solid start to her collegiate career, finishing the race in a time of 22:20.35, while junior
Bethany Brown (Allentown, PA) recorded a time of 22:43.62.
WPI next races on Saturday, October 5 at the Bates Invitational, starting at 10:30am.
