All-Region-United Soccer Coaches-WPI Men's Soccer-2025

Men’s Soccer’s Haas and Marden Slated to United Soccer Coaches All-Region II Team

WORCESTER — WPI Men's Soccer senior Evan Haas (Concord, NH) and junior Eli Marden (Shelburne, VT) were selected to the United Soccer Coaches NCAA Division III Men's Soccer All-Region II team as announced by the coaches association.

Haas, a senior defender, earns his first regional honor from the United Soccer Coaches on the second team in 2025 after he collected his third career all-conference honor and second-consecutive All-NEWMAC Second Team selection after anchoring WPI's defensive corps this fall. The senior captain contributed heavy minutes at the heart of the back line while adding a pair of goals and an assist in 18 starts. Haas also earned his third-career College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District team selection following the 2025 campaign.

Marden collected his first career All-Region nod as he struck for a pair of goals including a game winner for the Crimson and Gray in 17 starts as he additionally earned All-NEWMAC honors on the second team.

The Haas and Marden duo become the 15th and 16th regional selections since 2017 under the watchful eye of head men's soccer coach Brian Kelley

WPI wrapped up the season with an 8-7-5 overall record and returned to the NEWMAC Championship match for the second time in three seasons after knocking off fourth-seeded Emerson in Boston and top-seeded Wheaton in Norton.
