The event took the place on the schedule of Sunday's New England Wrestling Association (NEWA) Dual Meet Championships, which was also scheduled to take place at JWU, but was cancelled due to the forecasted snowstorm on Sunday.

At 157 pounds, Jonah Weber (Avon, CT) bounced back from an early loss to string together three straight bonus points wins featuring a 11-0 and 21-12 major decisions and a pin 4:39 into a bout while Jackson Willi (Delmar, NY) also had his arm lifted in the air after a triumph. Sachin Rajpal (Denver, CO) and Joey Baisley (Charlotte, NC) both collected wins at 165 with Rajpal notching a 17-2 (4:56) tech fall in the winner's bracket, and Baisley, a first period pin (1:36) in his second bout.

Theo Sawyers (Boston, MA) and Alex Mckenzie (San Anselmo, CA) each claimed three wins at 174 pounds.  Sawyer tallied a 10-5 decision to start the event and a 21-6 tech fall (6:40) and a 12-2 major decision later in the tournament while Mckenzie produced a similar sequence but with three pins, beginning with a fall at 1:39 and concluding with pins at 42 seconds and 1:49.   Gavin Luciano (Norton, MA) also shined with a fall at 1:59.
